We are seeking a motivated Mining Engineer or Senior Mining Engineer to join Encompass Mining Solutions. We’re looking for Openpit Mining Engineers with 5+ years’ experience, whether you’re a planning expert or scheduling specialist. We value passion for the industry, high-quality work, and dedication to premium client service.

About Our Team
We provide skilled consultants for short- to medium-term roles, filling key positions with integrity and excellence. Full-time employees gain exposure across multiple mining operations and commodities. Occasional travel for client sites is required. Our team ranges from Graduates to Principal Mining Engineers with 30+ years’ experience, united in delivering high-quality client support nationwide.
What you’ll be doing may include:
- Mine design (pits, dumps, site layouts)
- Mine Scheduling (short, medium, long term)
- Contributing to feasibility studies, resource/reserve estimations, due diligence
- Analysing model outputs and presenting insights to clients
Key Requirements
- Tertiary qualification and experience in Mining Engineering
- Strong mine design and scheduling skills
- Proficiency with mining software (Spry, Vulcan, Deswik) or programming (Python) advantageous
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management
- Full working rights in Australia
